Year 7 and 8 Camp

Dear Parents and Caregivers

The Year 7 and 8s have returned today from a successful trip to Camp Columba. They had a very cold start on Tuesday but have enjoyed sun toward the end of their week.

Next Friday is the Year 12 and 13 Formal. The girls are busy making final preparations and we look forward to a successful evening.

Well done to the Z Club who ran a very successful Pink Breakfast on Tuesday morning. This was a great fundraiser for a worthy cause.

A reminder to girls that Entertainment Books need to be returned to the student office if they haven’t already done so.  If you would like to order one, please click the link below where you have the option of ordering a digital copy.

On Wednesday 28 St Hilda’s girls bused down to Milton to compete in the Otago/Southland Cross Country Relay. Yet again all the teams performed extremely well, and it was a great sight seeing our Senior and Junior team’s 4th runners sprinting to the finish line.

The Senior Girls team of Anna Power, Erin O’Brien, Olivia Gold and Anna Lindsay were placed first, and the Junior Team of Lily Davies, Georgia Mitchell, Suzie White and Cecilia Crooks also won their age group.

The St Hilda’s Senior Team 3 were placed 3rd, Team 2 were placed 4th and Team 4 were placed 5th. St Hilda’s Junior 2 team were placed 4th and Junior 3 were placed 5th.

Anna Lindsay recorded the Fastest Senior time and Olivia Gold the third fastest time. Cecilia Crooks was the 3rd fastest Junior girl.

Next week the Otago Cross Country is being held at the Gladfield Golf Course. This is the same course that will be used for the NZSS National Cross Country that is being held on Saturday 20th June.
