Congratulations to Libby van Harselaar who was named MVP of the tournament and Charlotte Cotter who was named in the tournament team.

Phoebe Aburn, Olivia Gain and Kendra Robinson have been selected for the Otago U15 Basketball team.

The cricket team played Blue Mountain College in the final of the Otago Southland Secondary Schoolgirls’ Cricket Tournament last week and won by an impressive 90 runs.  The girls will now represent the Otago Cricket region in the NZCT finals in December.

Health Check
It seems a cycle of head lice could be amongst our student community.  To assist us we would appreciate a random check at home and treatment if required please.

Super 15 Rugby Tickets

Hawkins Construction have kindly donated a number of corporate lounge-access centre-line tickets for the Super 15 games at the Forsyth Barr Stadium. We have tickets available for the game on Saturday April 18 against the Blues.  The seats are superbly located and you can enjoy pre and after match relaxation via access to the Level 2 and Level 4 hospitality areas.   Tickets will be processed on a first come, first served basis.  Extra tickets may be available and as such could be a good opportunity for business owners or managers to take their staff or clients out in an affordable way.  The price for these tickets is by fair and reasonable donation however we would expect a minimum donation of $25 per ticket. All funds will go to a hardship fund, which enables all students to participate in school camps and sports trips.

The tickets are full lounge access cards and as such will need to be returned to school after the game.  Please email Joanne at jpopa@shcs.school.nz if you are interested in these tickets.
